My Sewing Creations

Wow I have been away for along time. I have been making quite a few crafts. I got a sewing machine about a week before mothers day as a Mothers Day present and have been making all sorts of things. Been making dresses and bows for my daughter and her 18" dolls. Some are matching and some are not but omgosh they are so fun to make.  I just finished a dress for myself!! Made a matching headband. It can work as a dress, skirt, and even a night gown. I made a "belt" to add to make it a cute dress. love it. the pattern is wild but I think its me.

Stuck

I sitting all day stuck on what to craft....I'm working on another album and have it bound. Ive got what paper I want to use cut and ready to finish gluing on. I want to work on it but then I don't. Don't know what to do lol. Last night in a live crop I finished a challenge which was to Alter a light switch. This is what I made
I thought that it came out beautifully for my daughters room. I have worked on my book for a little bit today by adding some of the pages onto it. I just don't know why I am not finishing it. GAH what to do lol. Ive watched all the youtube videos from my subscription list. Yet still nothing. I find myself playing all those games on facebook. I will wait for tomorrow and hope that I will get some more inspiration after my daughters doctors appointment in the morning.

Hmm this may be the cause of my not being able to craft? Or is it just this weekend that I am not feeling it. I haven't really blogged in a while either haha. Oh well. Guess I'll go finish that laundry and clean up the dinner mess lol. Then back to those games on Facebook until I go my shows with the hubby.

Upcycled Creations

Here are some items that I upcycled. I took some long sleeve shirts I bought 5-6 years ago and turned them into awesome tank tops. I went from living in a cold place to a humid place so it needed to change and I did not want to give up any of my cool shirts. I found a gal on pinterest. She has a easy tutorial on how to upcycle those shirts!!! The Transformer shirt I cut at the bottom and double hemmed it and used the strip from the bottom for the ties. But on the Venom shirt I took the sleeves instead and used it to tie the tank, leaving the original gem on the bottom in-tacked. Click here to check her out!!!
