Stickers for my Erin Condren Life Planner

Here is what I have been working on for about a week now. This is just a little glimpse of what I have been working on. I have made over 51 designs in various colors in the last week and continues to grow. My mind keeps going!!!! The creativity is never ending.

I will be purchasing more ink and sticker papers to print and cut them out on my silhouette. I still have to do that test run hehe. I may be buying a new mat and blade just for these only.

So my mother in law put a idea in my head and showed me her Erin Condren life planner. Well ideas started popping my brain. She sent me a post on pinterest of the what some of the sizes are for the book if I decided to do this. I know she wanted me to because she has one and she bought me one as an early early birthday gift!!!!! It ships mid August. I can't wait. Thus me designing all these.

Any who, it took me some time to figure out some of the features of my silhouette cameo. Some features that I have NEVER used before. I am getting better at using it.

Some of the files I have created will be for sale.  I will be selling them on printed papers and the stickers will be mailed out to you once purchased. I will abide by all copyright laws and will only sell items that I made.

For the next two banner alpha sets I used the Silhouette fill pattern window button. Used the argyle and the pink w/pink dots patterns.

This is from a onesie stamp that I bought years ago at Michaels in their dollar bin. I used the open trace window and the color filter buttons to make these. I think they came out cute!!!!

This is a Hydrate one with tear/rain drops that I created through the silhouette design studio.

This monkey was a stamp. I had stamped one monkey onto printer paper. It didn't have a tail on it so I drew a tail because he needed one.  I then scanned and uploaded it to my computer. In paint I spent an hour to two hours cleaning it up and coloring it (my eyes were beginning to pop out hehe).  Once it was cleaned up and got the first colors in it was easier to color and copy it.

This was a old stamp. I had this purse stamp since 2008/2009. I had to make major changes to it once it was stamped and scanned to my computer. It took me forever to fix it  and clean it up. Once all said and done it came out great.

This was also an old stamp I had in my stash. This one took some major alterations and coloring.

This is my Life Planner that my mother in law bought be as an early birthday gift (its in January)

A recent set of stickers that I drew out and cut on my Silhouette Machine. It was awesome they way they turned out. Cant wait to use them. I would have put them on a page but it is so hard when you already wrote stuff down and it wont cover it up hehe.

Here is a small Kit that I just finished for my August section. People who do these planners change the colors often. I chose not to for August seeing I am still new to this. I do love making stickers to go inside them! The paper isnt folded the photo just looks weird (sorry).

This is the first page of my planner than I did. Busy last few days.

Here is for this week coming up. I got some of this started. See that red pen work there? That's where I was going to put that notepaper sticker at...it fits perfectly into the square except I wrote a little over to the right too much.

Here is next weeks when school starts. This week will be SUPER Busy. Its not done yet but once I get more stuff done it will be full! I always do stuff last minute

Crocheted Mermaid Set

I was given the task to create and cute little mermaid set for a new born girl who just arrived about a week ago. I took on this challenge. I was given a set of colors and chose these to be as close as I could get.

First, I started making the bottom with the tail. Basically used simple crochet stitches to achieve this. I use double crochet, half double crochet, and single crochet. Not good on the terminology but tried my best. I just go with the flow.

Next I started making the fin and then sewed it on.

I then started on the top. The first one I made was too big so I had to make a new one. I came up with this one.

Then I started on the flowers for the headpiece and the crown. I went through my bead stash looking for pearls but I misplaced them (found them after I already started beading). I found these cute white flowers and pink w/silver beads. I loved them and had to use them.

Started making the head piece and the crown. I couldn't remember how to make the crown so I used a little bit of help from Youtube. I used a tutorial from Bobwilson123. Click here for her tutorial. I did make it my own and changed it up a bit to fit my needs.

Once everything was crocheted and done I attached the beads and flowers with clear fishing thread. This way its hidden and won't make things bulky.

To finish it off I was asked if I could attach the little girls name on it.  I tried and it came out great.

UPCYCLED SKIRT

Here is a project that I had some fun with. It came to me last minute as I was making some alterations for a friend. She had asked me to cut and hem a jersey shirt because the bottom was too tight. She also asked me to make some curtains shorter because they were too long as she was afraid that her granddaughter would pull them down.

I made a child skirt out of the bottom of the jersey shirt and curtains!!!!!

I cut the bottom of the jersey to make it shorter. I took out the hem and made the elastic shorter to fit a toddler. I took one panel of the curtain and took out the linings on the fabric. I then sewed some lining onto the shiny fabric. Then I attached the fabric with the lining to the jersey material. That took me some time to figure it out hehe. Then I took some more fabric and made a cute rolled Rose. I attached the rose with a cute button to the skirt.

Viola a cute upcycled skirt for a little princess. I love it. I may have to make myself one!!!!
